I am usually the kind of person who only wants to eat big food. The more massive, the better. I think psychologically it thrills me to have giant portions, to see my hands clutching something bigger than my mouth is capable of fitting. Don’t get me wrong, large meals still thrill me. But there’s something to be said for the little guys, too. Especially when you want to be focusing on the conversation (and not on chewing). And of course, when little kids are involved. That’s why Burgerim is the perfect lunch date meal with Amy Tangerine and her son Jack!
Burgerim is an international chain started in Israel, with its first US location in Los Angeles, just down the street from me on Melrose, at Western Avenue. We stopped by for a media preview.
They specialize in customizable sliders – everything from Chorizo to Wagyu Beef to Lamb.
We tried the Regular Beef, Marguez (spicy beef), Salmon, and Veggie mini burgers…
…plus thick fries.
Loved the flavor packed into each patty! You can customize with toppings like sautéed shrooms, pineapple, and sunny side up egg. They come in party packs of 16, too, in case you don’t feel like cooking.
