…Abe and I finally snagged a reservation for our 12th Wedding Anniversary!
I didn’t take too many photos of the space – it was loud/crowded/bustling – I didn’t want to get in the way.
We ordered all vegetarian to share. I’ll definitely have to come back with some meat eaters because they’ve got a bone marrow situation I saw on other tables.
Roasted Market Vegetables (carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, brussels sprouts)…
…Oven Roasted Snap Peas with mint, lemon juice, and sea salt.
The vegetables were very good, but the pizza and the pasta were mind blowing.
Spring Onion and Hedgehog Mushrooms, with Fontina/Mozzarella…
…and Casarecce al Pomodoro – twisted semolina pasta, tomato sauce, fresh ricotta, and basil oil.
I think we’re going to make Italian on our anniversary a tradition.
