Mozza2Go Picnic at The Greek Theater

Getting takeout dinner from Mozza2Go for a picnic before seeing Fiona Apple at The Greek Theater.

One thing I love about Los Angeles are all the outdoor concert venues – The Ford Amphitheatre, The Music Center Plaza, and of course, The Hollywood Bowl. Haven’t been to The Greek Theater in years (last show was The Roots/Erykah Badu in 2008) and forgot they don’t allow outside food or drink.  My cousin Amy Kidd and I already have our hearts set on Mozza2Go, so I am picking us up an early dinner…

…and we are eating it outside the theater!

Abe isn’t with us; it is quite the meat-fest.

Nancy’s Chopped Salad, which has everything from meat and cheese to garbanzo beans and tomatoes…

… and the Mortadella, Prosciutto, Salumi and Aged Provolone Panini.

After polishing off my portion, I also sample one of my Bagel Bread Pudding Muffins. Amy likes it, but I think it’s a little too slimy for Sunday’s Blogger Picnic – something that needs to be served hot outa the oven.

We finish our picnic, head inside The Greek…

…Amy got us amazing seats!

My iPhotos didn’t turn out so great…

…so I’m borrowing a few off of Instagram…

This is my 3rd time seeing Fiona Apple live (I was at the infamous 2000 Roseland Meltdown) and she is, as usual, wonderful…

…blogged a little bit about my favorite song by her over at Mourning Music.

P.S. For those of you in San Juan Bautista, my movie Daylight Savings is screening there today.

LOVE Fiona! I saw her a months ago when she stopped in Chicago. It was my 4th time seeing her — it was the best show yet!
