I grew up eating pizza for breakfast. But I did not grow up eating it with an egg on top. Can we all agree breakfast pizza is magic? Egg yolk and cheese are my favorite toppings. Baldoria in Downtown Los Angeles makes it all day!
This one had potatoes on it too. Yukon Gold with caramelized onions, thyme, cheddar, and garlic. Usually it has truffle salt but I’m married to someone who doesn’t like truffles (or donuts – go figure).
At night, this is a great place to meet for drinks (they make their own syrups/infusions)…
…or a light lunch. Their salads have unique toppings, from persimmons to tiny quail eggs! It’s also close to the Japanese American National Museum and MOCA in Little Tokyo – two places I’m always visiting. FYI no reservations.
