Vegetarian PopUp at LaMill

This meal is hosted.

San Francisco’s celebrated pastry chef Bill Corbett is doing a vegetarian popup at LaMill Coffee – every Thursday and Friday night.  Four courses for $40 ($20 more with alcohol pairings).  Of course, I brought my meat-free man along for an alcohol-less date night.

First course: Mushroom Pate with Onion Marmalade, Sherry Caramel, on Grilled Bread.  I don’t like liver, but I LOVED this!

Second Course: Heirloom Tomato Panzanella, Goat Cheese, and Fresh Coriander.

Third Course: Farro Risotto with Summer Vegetables, Leeks, and Lentil Croquettes.  Those little balls caused quite a stir with me and Abe; one of the best vegetarian things I’ve ever eaten.
