Breakfast at Tempo Dulu in Portland, ME

This is a hosted meal.

Back in Portland, Maine last week, we enjoy a South East Asian inspired breakfast, at Tempo Dulu inside The Danforth Inn.

The complimentary menu changes daily.  When we are there, the entrees include Fried Eggs with Thai Chili Curried Hash Browns…

…and Peanut Butter Pancakes with Maine Maple Syrup.  I mean seriously – this is not your every day bed-and-breakfast situation.

You can see more in my own Facebook Live video – including how to make these two mocktails.  The first is a  Yogurt Lassi and mixologist Trevin Hutchins’ creation “The Wayang” (lime, ginger, cilantro, mangosteen/turmeric foam).  You will also see me using my first cocktail shaker, like a maniac.

Raymond Brunyanszki also co-owns The Camden Harbour Inn – next time I’m in Maine I’ll have to check out the breakfast at their restaurant Natalie’s – who knows where in the world we’ll go there.

A little more breakfast around the world this morning!  We just finished making (and eating) a Full English Breakfast with Steve Vernetti on Facebook Live.  We grill up some bangers/sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes, bacon, and fry up some eggs.  Did you know that you should just use Heinz Baked Beans straight out of a tin for this?  Check it out on Tastemade Facet!
