A Mother’s Day Gift Guide – plus where to take her to eat.
It’s coming before you know it – so here’s my Mother’s Day Gift Guide!
Milk Jar Cookies delivers all over Los Angeles (with milk!) and across the country. We recently attended their 3rd birthday party, and people were seriously freaking out over the seasonal Milk and Cereal flavor.
I get my own mom skincare almost every single year. 2016 is the year of Kate Somerville. Every product they sent me feels like I’m at the spa – from the high-tech packaging (I love that things click n shake) to the luxurious textures. You can’t help but slow down and savor the moment. If the lady (or man) in your life has problem skin, skip the facial and give these a shot first.
I know, brunch is cliche but if you’re going to do it, do it right. Make reservations at your favorite restaurants now! My go-to special occasion spots in LA are Bouchon, Fishing with Dynamite, Viviane, and Terrine. If you’re staying at home, I highly recommend Caramel Bacon and Baked Eggs with a side of Stonefruit Panzanella, or just sign her up to America’s Test Kitchen – my most trusted resource for recipes.
These Dansko Sandals – they’re the only non-flats you’ll catch me wearing these days. Also, anything by Splendid. I’ve bought their pajamas and sweatshirts for all the moms in my family (and myself) – sooooo soft and well constructed.
Salt and Straw Delivery! These were chocolate flavors from for Valentine’s Day, but in May they’ll have some floral flavors that I plan to try for another Hello Giggles Facebook Live video! How fun would it be to send mom flowers IN ice cream?!?
