Blue Jean Baby – The Perfect Denim Jacket occasionally receives vendor/ brand sponsorships for mentioning Shopbop’s products and services.  Thank you for supporting the blog!

I have a blue jean jacket from Gap that I’d bought in junior high school. We recently parted ways.  It’s been difficult to get rid of her because we have been through a lot together.  But if I’m going to be honest, she never did make me feel very good. She was bought on sale at a shopping outlet where I begged my parents for a piece of Americana. But she never fit or felt right. She was always in the way — and wound up tied around my waist or forgotten in a car or at a party. The arrangements to pick her up always left me thinking, “I don’t even like this. How is this worth it?”

Well, I’m happy to say that I’m ALL about this blue jean denim jacket…

Paired with Starkist SWAG Sunglasses (yes, as in the tuna fish) and I have no intention of parting with them.

Also obsessed with this turtleneck sweater, which I’ve been photographed in about a million times lately, because I wear it constantly.

I got both of those items at Shopbop, who is one of the blog’s sponsors.  Some other items they sell that I love – the jacket and jeans (below).  Plus, my favorite brown Madewell Bag + the Blue Bridesmaids Dress I wore on the SDAFF Red Carpet.  I won’t be getting rid of those things any time soon.
