Komodo has its start as one of the original LA food trucks, and now has locations in Venice and on Pico, near Beverly Hills.
We are invited to the latter, which as you can see, is tiny and packed!
Jenny Yang and Abe are my dates; and the three of us pretty much try this whole entire menu.
From rice dishes with tofu…
…to tacos with everything from cheeseburgers to chicken to steak and eggs on top.
Salads too – traditional ones with greens…
…and ones with Tater Tots. Tater Tot Salad!
This is “Brutus,” their “anti-salad.”

…but not all of it was eaten – Jenny is taking a lot home! We do feast away on these killer Mochi Ice Creams, though.
This combo of gourmet, fusion street food is probably my favorite – and I love that I don’t have to sit on a curb any more to enjoy it.
