I left the vegetarian at home and brought Christy…
…we went to celebrate her birthday!
She ordered the Red Trout – similar to salmon – with a side of seriously mind-blowing coconut brown rice…
…and perfectly-cooked baby zucchini.
I really dug my dish as well – a Shrimp Cobb – with beets, eggs, avocado, tomatoes, and dill dressing. I left off the bacon/blue cheese and it was plenty flavorful.
For dessert they brought out a Coconut Sorbet with Strawberries, Mint Syrup, and a candle!
We had a great time – it just got CRAZY LOUD inside, similar to my visit at Connie and Ted’s. There’s an outdoor patio; next time I’ll have to request to eat there. I’m not sure what’s up with these LA Seafood Restaurants and their poor indoor acoustics…but I’ll be back!
