in dessert, dinner, gluten free, restaurant, salads, sandwich, vegan

SunCafe Organic is one of my favorite vegan restaurants in Los Angeles.  They moved, but just up the street…

…and a patio.

Dogs welcome!

My favorite vegetarian was my date, of course.

I didn’t have any of the alcoholic stuff…

…but did partake of Grapefruit Sage Kombucha on tap.

(Abe was quite pleased with the craft beers and specialty cocktails.)

Here’s what we ate!

Raw pizza (above) on a Gluten-Free Rice Flour Crust and Sun Nachos on baked blue corn chips (they’ve also got raw ones)…

Naners made an additional appearance in this stellar Tahitian Vanilla Shake…

All the food was, as usual, wonderful and plentiful!  We wound up taking our entrees home as leftovers…

This made me feel very sane and comforted by my desire to throw bananas on my kale salads :) I kept it quiet…until now…!
(I also make a peanut sriacha sauce as a dressing. Yes, with bananas. It’s pretty darn good!)
