Quicks Hole Tavern

dinner - restaurant - travel - vegetarian

On our last night in Cape Cod, Abe and I stayed at Woods Hole Inn (<—post to come!) where a lovely gift awaited us from the owner – our friend Beth

…we brought it along for a stroll down the road, across the street from the Martha’s Vineyard Ferry Terminal…

…to Quicks Hole Tavern, Beth’s newest baby – just opened in March and getting rave reviews!

We started on the first floor with this gorgeous cheese board, bread, fig preserves and quince paste…

…then, up the stairs, where they have a larger menu

…and a view of the kitchen!

Speaking of views…

…one of the many reasons I follow Beth’s Instagram – those spectacular sunrises/sunsets, and mouth-watering dishes like this…

…their pig candy tasted as good as it looks, and this bowl of Clam Chowder (<—featured in Cape Cod Times as one of the top 10!) hit the spot.

Abe had plenty to choose from without meat – pickled veggies…

…and a housemade veggie burger (vegan if ordered sans remoulade/melted jack cheese).

For dessert, we opted for the Strawberry Rhubarb Cobbler…

If you’re lucky enough to be in the area this summer, their Taqueria (right next door to the Woods Hole Inn) will be open May 21st!
