Stay at the Cape Cod Bed and Breakfast Inn at the Oaks in Eastham, MA.
After a long flight from LA and lots of Boston traffic, we are checking into the Cape Cod Bed and Breakfast, Inn at the Oaks…
…which is an old Victorian home originally built for a sea captain back in 1970. In the 1900’s it became an inn. There’s a wraparound porch, cozy common areas, and lots of antiques.
We are greeted by the friendly staff and huge, chewy cranberry white chocolate cookies. I can’t even begin to tell you HOW GOOD these cookies are. They’re kind of ruining my appetite for lobster rolls.
We are settling nicely into The Captain’s Room. I love that there is a desk the perfect size for blogging.
I also appreciate the little details in the bathroom!
In the morning, enjoy some free breakfast. The buffet includes everything from cereal to baked goods.
As a Stonyfield blogger, I obviously approve of their yogurt offerings. There’s lots of fruit too!
The Cape Cod Bed and Breakfast just opened a sister property – Cove Bluffs Inn – same cookies, but it has a pool! They’re offering a special deal right now, too. Extra bonus – the inn is pet-friendly! We are not planning on bringing Julius but it’s good to know for all of you with four-legged pals.
