Abe’s 4th birthday celebration took place at Angelini Osteria – on his actual birthday.

The space is tiny; reservations are a must. It’s right next door to The BuzzFeed Offices so Abe just walked over after work.

Along with the usual bread basket (rosemary crisps/pre-oiled bread) came a little bowl of pasta salad.

I remembered how amazing their infamous Lasagna Verde was from last year’s LA Taste, but my stomach has been pretty full from marathon eating. So I ordered a fancy schmancy salad instead…

The birthday boy did order pasta, and both of us were floored by it. Spaghetti with Eggplant, Tomato, Basil and Dried Ricotta…

They had a lot of interesting desserts on the menu, but Abe wanted to go to Sweet Rose. We both got ice creams (Coconut/Chocolate for me, Coffee/Salted Caramel for him)…
