Video Killed the Blogging Star

It’s funny; ever since I changed the blogging format I’ve booked a couple jobs that have required me to sign non-disclosure agreements. So it’s a good thing I don’t take pictures of everything I eat anymore because I’m not allowed to share set photos! Although I can’t say what I’ve been working on, I’m tickled pink to be overwhelmed with acting and will let you know more when I can. Pilot season is among us and I’m already pretty bonkers with auditions – here’s an edited drama sample (from Sutures and Yes We’re Open)!

This Contigo Travel Mug (a present from my brother) has been a lifesaver. When I’m driving 60 miles away at 5:30 in the morning (like I’ve been the last 2 days) I want my beverage HOT and I want it not to spill all over me.

I will also say that I’ve been getting a lot of takeout! The Veggie Grill Harvest Bowl is veggie good. I didn’t like the roasted sides on their own, but doused in sauce = A-OK.

Field Roast Sausage is my favorite of the vegan “meats.” We bought some for home, too, from Whole Foods.

Two more videos to share – one of my good friend Leslie on The Food Network

…and the other featuring one of the most inspiring TED Talkers I’ve ever seen.

Break a leg this pilot season! I’ll start reading pilot scripts in a couple weeks. Can’t wait to hear what you’ve been working on.

You know, that is the only Veggie Grill dish I’ve ever had that I didn’t like. I think it was that I didn’t care for the sauce and there wasn’t enough sauce. As long as there was a piece of Field Roast in each bite, it was ok, but I probably wouldn’t order it again.

What a great video of Leslie touting vegan nachos! Yes!

Whoo! Love hearing that you’re so busy with acting work! Also, that Harvest Bowl looks really good. I don’t get to Veggie Grill too often but I’ll keep this dish in mind the next time I’m near a VG location 🙂
