Republic of Pie

dessert - dinner

I’ve always been Team Cake, but upon recent analysis, I think the happiest food experiences of my life revolve around pie.

Republic of Pie is in the NoHo Arts District…

…and you guessed it – they have pie!

Both were solid, but I think I liked the crust on the former better. Then again, I may just be partial to warm foods this time of year.

How awesome!! We NEED a place like this in Boston!

That was in my old neighborhood and I used to go there many times per week. They have a ridiculously good bread pudding and great homemade granola that you can buy a big ole bag of. They used to also do a happy hour every weekday morning AND from 3-5 pm. This coffee house puts the Starbucks a few doors down to shame;)

I don’t know how I’ve managed to live less than 2 miles from Republic of Pie for 3 years and have never gone in…I need to change that!

I’m glad you and Abe had such a lovely Christmas here in LA- sometimes relaxing at home is the best celebration you can have. (:

IMO, pie is way overdue to be the next cronut. This humble pastry is so versatile, always satisfying and good in all seasons! That pumpkin pie has me seriously craving some right now.

I’ve heard so much about this place! Definitely must try :)
And I would get the pumpkin too…
