At the corner of Highland and Lexington sits an aptly named restaurant, The Hollywood Corner.

We were invited in for dinner…

…fried pickles = the perfect start to the weekend!

After about 5 or 6 of those (dipped in Sage Buttermilk sauce) we switched seats, so Abe could watch the game.

Ordered vegetarian to share…

…a Build-Your-Own pizza with vegan cheese, spinach, red onion, and olives…

…plus a veggie burger with both sweet potato and regular fries.

Homemade patty – quinoa, brown rice, veggies – topped with pesto, goat cheese, tomato and grilled onion.

Food and service were both solid! Too full for dessert, so we brought a piece of red velvet cake home.

      Haven’t eaten it yet! It’s sitting in the freezer so I’m sure it won’t be as good as it would’ve been last night…

    That pizza looks so good. I am a sucker for thin crispy crust for some reason. Would rather have my bread with butter thick than pizza bread/crust.
