Buzzing and Feeding

BuzzFeed LA was being returned to its normal state this morning, so Abe and I shared the home office…

…once he went back, I spent the rest of the day cooking for one of his colleagues, who’s been out sick.

Armed with my new soup skillz, I whipped this together like a mad woman – basically a huge onion cooked in Olive Oil, Garlic, Spices (Cumin, Coriander, Ginger), TJ’s Corn Salsa, White Wine, Tomato Paste, Veggie Broth, and Coconut Milk. Pureed til smooth.

Sipped on what couldn’t fit into two huge mason jars…

…also sampled for seasoning – carrot slaw with Honey Roasted Peanuts, Dried Cranberries and a quick vinaigrette of Lemon Olive Oil, Cherry Balsamic, Dijon Mustard, and Smoked Sea Salt.
