Dog Haus and Zzzz Girls

After a big melon breakfast, Angela and I attended my first “Sound Bath,” where House of Intuition holds them several times every Tuesday.

Got a little taste of these Crystal Quarts Singing Bowls when I received an intuitive massage from Dominic in April – I have a lot of trouble sticking with meditation, and found that the sounds/vibrations emitted literally force you into another state. In my case, it was sleep. This was like adult nap time!

Afterwards, I headed into Pasadena for lunch…

…Dog Haus Biergarten is a little difficult to find from the street – just go down the little alley on Green Street between Raymond/S Arroyo Parkway.  (They’ve got a cute bathroom door inside.)

Had a Free Combo Coupon from The Taste this weekend) I ordered a burger.

This was their simplest one – white american cheese, lettuce, onion, tomato, and secret sauce…

…with a side of sweet potato tater tots!

I thought it was BRILLIANT that the burger comes on four Kings Hawaiian Rolls

…so you can make sliders!

I wound up eating 1/4 of the burger and all the tots there, then polished off the rest at home, while watching OITNB.

Oh wow, that IS a brilliant burger presentation. Your entire dinner looks fantastic. (I love that they have something called The Fonz!)

So many places in your neck of the woods that I’d love to check out.

I love House of Intuition! Such a great store; I bought a bunch of crystals there a couple months ago.

BTW, took a nice evening walk from Cafe Gratitude to the end of Larchmont Village and back last night. Finally saw the little book exchange you featured a while back.

Those Kings Hawaiian rolls are literally heaven. We use them at the restaurant where I work and the customers constantly rave about them even though they’re the same thing you can buy at the grocery store.
Such a good idea to use the slider size for a burger- never thought of that!

I might be able to help you with the meditation. Let me know and we can chat. Best path is to keep it simple and find what works for you…and much like your food journey, be kind to yourself in the process.

I may have to steal the idea of using the four rolls as a bun. Love that.
