Evan Kleiman’s Chicken Pot Pie with a Duck Fat Crust. Best one I’ve ever eaten – flaky, thick, and flavorful. (Much better than the one that supposedly holds this title.)

Again, probably the best apple pie a la mode I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing.

The topping was incredible (I could’ve used more) but THAT FUCKING CRUST. Sorry to curse, but it got me worked up.
Notice how my plate is clean and everyone else’s isn’t? People were impressed that I cleared all three servings.
Am definitely feeling it today – but it was worth every bite. I seriously died and went to Pie Heaven.
