Paradis is gone, but another dessert spot has taken its place…

Ramekin held a media event last night, where we got to sample the menu and meet the chef/owners.

I ate half a melon a few hours beforehand – one of the 10 made-from-scratch ice cream and gelato flavors I sampled…

…Abe and I shared a scoop of the Banana Chocolate Chip and Pistachio.

Next up – “Strawberry Brick Toast” – Japanese white bread, sweet milk crisp, chocolate sauce, vanilla ice cream…

We also tasted the Chocolate Bread Pudding, which is crispy and chewy – kinda like croutons…

I devoured several bites of all of the above, but took an entire serving of dessert to go…

…plum sorbet + chocolate ice cream with a made-to-order mochi waffle cone.

Ate almost all of it by the time we reached home; I decided to shove the remnants in the freezer and officially end the sugar party with a cup of miso.
