My vegetarian husband wasn’t the only one excited to eat at Vedge Friday night…

…the place was packed!

Wendy/David made reservations two months ago, but couldn’t be promised a table for more than 5 – sadly, Zack stayed behind.

The entire menu is animal-free – we were encouraged to order 3-4 small plates each – but all agreed that 2 is plenty.

The bread boy came by a few times – I said “yes” twice – great dipped in olive oil…

Up until last December, I lived across the street from Vedge right on Broad St and never ventured in past happy hour at the bar.. you really make me regret that!

Also, the Philadelphia sky looks beautiful in your first picture. Never thought I would miss living there, especially with California calling me, but I do.

This sounds excellent, Lynn. I never get into the city, but this might be worth making the effort. Thanks for the review!

Those veggie dishes look totally gourmet! I wish we had places like that in Saskatchewan – our restaurants are totally meat and potatoes based.

best restaurant ever! The chocolate uber chunk and brussel sprouts are some of my favs! I haven’t been since April and it looks like there is a lot of seasonal goodness on there I need to get back to!
