…we got early morning tickets to The Barnes Foundation – as suspected, no cameras allowed but trust me – this place is a MUST.


On our way back, takeout Hoagies from Primo’s



…Abe and I split the Nonna’s Veggie with Eggplant, Sharp Provolone, Broccoli Rabe and Roasted Peppers…


…I got the extra redness from other halves.



Stellar sandwich.  Another Philly phave for dessert – Goldenberg Peanut Chews – I think the original is cruelty-free but these are different (and not).


Speaking of which, we’re having dinner at “the best vegan restaurant in America” tonight! I was hoping this might be the trip where I finally ate a Cheesesteak (can’t believe I’ve been blogging four years and have yet to have a real one) but alas, it will have to wait.

You now have me craving Primos! Next time you are in Philly I vote we meet for cheesesteaks (would make my husband very happy)!

That meal at Vedge looked amazing, especially the desserts.

Sad I missed you but loved reading about your East Coast visit:-)
