Red Red Waffles

June 19, 2013

in sandwich, travel

Back in March I stumbled upon Bruxie and fell in love. They were kind enough to send me a little thank-you package, which included a gift card to return to any of their five locations. Since I just drove to the original with Eboni on Monday, I decided to visit a different spot – their newest one – in Huntington Beach.

I came along with my cousin Maya, WHO JUST TURNED SIXTEEN!!!! Sorry to scream, but I’ve known this girl since she was a baby and cannot believe she now has a license to drive.

We both got sweet sandwiches, and traded bites…

…and the PB and J for me.

Also shared a side of savory – waffle fries with ketchup.

The theme of the day is obviously waffle + red.
