The Golden State

June 12, 2013

in books, dinner, restaurant

We celebrated some golden things last night…

Crazy Rich Asians on audio

…and a blog birthday over burgers at The Golden State.

Mine was the Harris Ranch beef with cheddar, glazed applewood smoked bacon, arugula, aioli, and ketchup…

…also tried their veggie patty – with avocado, lettuce, red onion, tomato, and ketchup.

Both were excellent – as were the Fried Sweet Potato Wedges…

…dipped in 4 sauces – aioli, ketchup, spicy mustard, and curry.

This was my third attempt to eat here – the last few times it was too crowded/they were closed, so I’m glad we finally got a chance to experience it – especially after their feature on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives.

P.S. – I didn’t have any, but they also serve my favorite gelato!

Yum!!! We have it on our list, and it was from DDD, not reading about it!

Congrat’s on the audio Book! We watched you on Lakeview Terrace the other night. You should be getting residuals!

Woo hoo! I make more on residuals from that little scene than I do starring in my little indies!!!

Love Golden State! You need to go on a Thursday night to try their lamb burger – my favorite! :)

After seeing this post, I really had to look at your “About” page. Doesn’t just that look too sinful? Then there’s that gelato below.
