31Ten Lounge is known for being a bar/night club, but we were invited to try the dinner menu.

Arrived at 7pm, way before the DJ started spinning.

Had a seat at the bar, where Abe enjoyed a cocktail (and I sipped on Diet Coke).

Chef Michael Wilson arranged a tasting – with specialized options for the vegetarian – starting with these Olives + Marcona Almonds/Nuts + Chili, Lime, and Maldon Salt…

…Oven Dried Tomato, Olives, Quinoa atop Radicchio – usually this comes with a Tuna Dressing, but he used a Gorgonzola one instead.

Seriously, these fries WERE addictive! Not too crunchy or soggy – kinda reminded me of kettle chips? I ate probably 2/3 of the pile before Abe let the server take it away.

All of these dishes, by the way, are smaller versions of what you would ordinarily get. We were each treated to our own mini chocolate desserts with gold flakes and orange creme.

Finished up just as the place started filling up – FYI they stop serving dinner (just pizza/almonds/olives) at 10pm. Definitely take advantage of their Happy Hour and look out on Twitter/Facebook for their special CANDY cocktail menu that will launch next week!

Everything looks so incredible! Both the veg and non-veg menus are calling to me!

Ahhh…I haven’t even heard of that restaurant yet! It looks phenomenal. Those fries…oh my goodness! So happy that you enjoyed it. (:
