in bakeries/cafes/dessert places, travel

After a bad night’s sleep, Abe needed a good cup of iced coffee to drive 8+ hours. I did some online research and found Lux Central.

The entrance is a little difficult to find – just go around back to the parking lot and follow the sounds of people + yummy smells.

We loved everything about this place – the guy DJing Postal Service when we walked in…

…I opted for a ready-made baked goodie, since we were eager to hit the road back to Los Angeles.

FYI – he reported that the iced coffee WAS great.

I’ve a feeling this place gets super crazy around 11am when Pane Bianco (Pizzeria Bianco’s sister eatery) opens next door. If I lived in Phoenix, this would definitely be my hangout!

I love the way you both travel and eat all the great food along the way! Indeed Santa Fe and Phoenix are such nice places to be. Glad you both had a good trip and a happy anniversary excursion. Thanks.
