Goodbye Santa Fe!

We stopped by El Parasol first thing Saturday morning…

…and the Breakfast Taco Special for myself – a soft corn tortilla with egg, red salsa, and chorizo. Very, very good.

…we finally made it to Phoenix…

Arrived at Pizzeria Bianco 4pm – didn’t even check into our hotel…

the wait for this place can be crazy – we lucked out and snagged the last spot at the bar.

Reader Tracey suggested the Margherita and Rosa, and that’s exactly what we ordered!

There are no words, so I’ll just let the photos speak for themselves.

Would I wait four hours for this? I probably would. I mean, we drove all day for it – definitely lives up to the accolades.

Afterwards, we needed to digest those two pies. Walked around the adorable area…

…and saw three weddings!

Beautiful photo of you and Abe…happy anniversary, Lynn! Am also intrigued that they had Coca-Cola Light!

It was a delicious soda – Abe had fresh seltzer from their machine too.

I’m so thrilled that you and Abe had such a terrific anniversary dinner! That was very sweet to mention my recommendation and I’m so that happy the pizzas exceeded your expectations! I wish you and Abe many more happy anniversaries and please know that I’ll be following along as long as you let me!
By the way – you’ve been looking especially beautiful lately – must be the effect of such well-deserved peace and happiness!

Congratulations to you and Abe! That pizza looks amazing – there is nothing like a margherita done right… :)

Looking at the Pizzas I think I will pass on these. Don’t like burndt pizza and the crust is difinitly burndt. Wonder if you could order it undercooked. Light golden brown is the correct color for my pizza.

Can’t believe they ate both pizzas, I’m usually only good for 2 slices, my husband is good for 3. That leaves a whole pizza for someone else or lunch for a few days.
