When I was filming Yes We’re Open in San Fran, I experienced Tartine Bakery a few times…
…but never in person.
(FYI there’s a little bit of a line.)
And when you see (and smell) their pastries, you know why.
Got our order to go and snagged the last outdoor seat!

We didn’t! But we did stop by the market for gifts…
Ah, Tartine. Light of my baked good loving heart. I know that corner so well… My favorites are the ham & cheese croissant, the lemon bar (which is actually SUPER easy to duplicate at home, fyi, the lemon tart, the banana cream pie, oh, I could go on and on. One of the very first places I went to before I moved to San Francisco, when I was just visiting. Sigh.
