After Monday’s Ladies Night, there was leftover Semillon in the fridge – I froze a cup for a future wine cake, and used the rest to braise some brussels sprouts.

Get the pan nice n hot – this is a hand-me-down Calphon my cousin Amy just gave me – I’m in love!

From the freezer – a package from TJ’s and some red onion from ???

Add the wine, cover, and cook for 8-10 minutes, until the veggies are tender.

Let the liquid evaporate…

Feel like the new movies I’ve been watching lately have been disappointing, so I added some old classics to the Netflix Queue…

What’s Up, Doc? has me excited for San Francisco this weekend – and craving carrots…

The movie was fun but we all kept passing out near the end.

Ooh, maybe you should dump in some garlic next time! I find garlic is a must for me! =X Since you have a Blendtec, you could buy a lot of garlic and just instantly chop them up and put them in the freezer! They stay good for a long time. :)

Lynn, are you only going to the first showing of Nice Girls 2? My friend and I loved it last year (and the Saving Face Reunion, of course), but we can only make the March 21 Nice Girls showing.

Sadly, I will only be at the premiere – I’m sorry I’ll miss you!
