With Abe’s folks in town, we wound up having a last-minute dinner at Amy’s.

Everything was picked up from Pavillions in 5 minutes! Strawberry Salad-in-a-bag, complete with almonds, dried fruit, and vinaigrette…

…Whole Roasted Chicken…

…Battered Pollock Fish Fillets…

…and a big loaf of French bread.

Still kinda shocked at how good this was…I polished off two plates – everything that white sauce touches is magic!

Dessert was courtesy of Vermont Nut Free Chocolates…

…everyone really flipped out over this stuff. Caramel + pretzels make such a difference!

More Salty + Sweet from Trader Joe’s.

hmmm!! Those pretzels look delicious!
we grab those chickens from vons at least once a week. They are really good and inexpensive
At the Korean grocery we LOVE to grab fermented veggies from the salad bar (everything smothered in red pepper paste-yes!), a handful of mandu, or the steamed dumplings, and a little kimchi-jiggae or korean kimchi and beef stew. This happens at least once a week, but I’d LOVE to trade it out for some of those yummies you have above!!
