Right after I hit publish on yesterday’s post, I found out Saving Face made Yahoo’s list of “Most Romantic Movies You Haven’t Seen!”

It turned out to be a terrific Valentine’s. I don’t usually celebrate, but having an excuse to focus on love all day is really good for someone who’s had the blues lately. A promising first session with my new therapist; snacked on the drive back…

…then went to pick up my boo for dinner!

If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram, you know exactly where we went.

Yup, this is what 17 years of love looks like!

I mean, look at this romance.

Abe and I used to eat religiously at Taco Bell in college, but in the last 15 years I’ve been there…maybe twice? I got my standard – a Chalupa, with chicken, hold the sour cream.

Had a bite of Abe’s Loaded Potato (without bacon and added beans). Living in the land of amazing + authentic Mexican food, I’m a little ashamed to say we actually enjoyed these.

When I asked my Twitter/Facebook peeps what to order, they had mixed reactions to the Doritos Taco – my honey was smart and brought a bag from the Huffington Post Live Kitchen…

…so we still got our fix!

Dessert – a little treat dear Melanie brought all the way from Hawaii!

(Not Kitty Shaped.)

We each had two…

…then walked across the street to the real Valentine’s Day treat…

…a show at Largo with Paul F. Tompkins and Paget Brewster (saw Emily in the audience!)

Got home in time to enjoy some bedtime cocoa, frozen grapes, and snuggles.

Hope your February 14, 2013 was a good one too. Happy Friday!

Sometimes Taco Bell just hits the spot!
