The weather was so weird yesterday! Half the sky was sunny, and the other dark.

Perfect day to see a movie! I cry a lot listening to opera these days, so this one made me BAWL.

Fell in love with the NoHo Laemmle; not only is it 1/3 of the price of The Arclight on the weekend, they actually have reasonably-priced concessions (unlike the Sundance Cinemas in West Hollywood).

Back home I was in my PJ’s before 5pm – dug into Thai leftovers – some spring rolls…

…spicy sauce…

…and asparagus with Forbidden Rice.

More treats from Rachel’s 40th…

…miso, grapes, and The Grammys.

I knew more of the music in the movie about senior citizens than the performers from last night…it’s official. I’m old.

NoHo Laemmle is definitely my favorite movie theater- I feel like I’m at the Arclight for half the price!
Glad you enjoyed the film. (:
Great post & yummy food! Glad you enjoyed it!
I absolutely love the Laemmle theatres and NoHo is in my neighborhood, basically. My favorite theatre used to be the Sunset 5 before Laemmle lost it and it transferred hands. I haven’t been to the new incarnation yet. ArcLight is also awesome, just expensive as you mentioned.
I’m ten years older than you so shut up.
Can I just say that I really enjoy your clever titles?
ha ha – thank you, jessica, thank you!
So funny. For the first time in a long while, I knew a lot of the Grammy performers! In the first half, anyway. After that, I fell asleep (another indication that I’m old).
