How was your Super Bowl Sunday?

I’m sure mine was different from everyone else’s – considering I still don’t know who played (or even won). Went to Costa Mesa instead – a great day to drive because there was zero traffic to The Camp.

I loved this little eco-friendly mall!

Most of the stores were either closed/empty – even the Umami Burger…

…we met up with Emily and Thad, their adorable children, and went to Native Foods…in a yurt!

Sat outside, by the fire. I got the Caribbean Jerk Kale Salad – tempeh, avocado, mango, peppers, and onion tossed with kale + a creamy jalapeño cilantro dressing…

…Green Onion and Shredded Coconut on top.

Also, a bite of sweet potato fries…

…and Abe’s “meatball” sub.

Afterwards we walked to the other side of The Camp – Milk and Honey for dessert…

…where I consumed half of this tart froyo with yogurt chips. Cold, but tasty.

After saying goodbye to our friends, we met up with more buddies – Melanie and Chapin…

…to see our dear Michelle star in David Henry Hwang’s Chinglish at South Coast Repertory.

She was, as usual, incredible – as was the rest of the cast!

FYI I extended the Blendtec Blender + Stonyfield Yogurt Giveaway one more day. Last chance to enter, if you haven’t already!

i love the camp! i don’t live too far from there so i go over there often – milk+honey is a definite fave.
Their froyo is like a fluffy cloud!

Next time meet me at The Camp! I live like 5 miles from it
I went to Native Foods last week and sadly was not a fan. I had the Sesame Kale MacroBowl. The only thing I liked on it was the kale
