Yesterday I went aftershave shopping with Joy! We stopped by Deluca’s in between stores for a snack.
Not sure if this place is related to the famous Dean and DeLuca (<—Felicity!!!) but it was definitely reminiscent…
…and these were controversial when I posted a pic on Instagram!
I actually didn’t have any – just ordered one of these babies…
…Joy got something out of their deli case.
Well, they may not know how to spell or craft a perfect-looking macaron…
…but DANG they know how to make a Peanut Butter Cookie Sandwich!

Ha, Lynn – I just had that same cookie when I went to Americana a few weeks ago. It was damn good. I just moved to LA and am having fun going to all the foodie places you post on your blog!

There is a big difference btwn macaron and macaroons. Essentially it’s the ingredients and the cookie shape itself. But you can also remember that the more elegant looking and spelling “macaron” is French based, and the other well… isn’t.
