Empire Hotel

in travel

As I’ve mentioned before, I grew up at the Metropolitan Opera House

…so it’s kinda crazy that I’m staying at the Empire Hotel, right across the street from Lincoln Center…

…they even have a live feed!

The room is small but clean and modern. So advanced, in fact, it took me about 15 minutes to figure out how to use this shower!!!

FYI – there ARE docks for your iPhone, but if you forgot your charger (like I did) you are screwed…

…they’ve got options, but of course, they charge you an arm and a leg for them…

I can’t believe you’re staying at the Empire Hotel! That’s literally 7 blocks from where I live :) I have always wanted to grab a drink at their roof top.

Did you try docking your iPhone? Most of those will charge your phone while it plays your music.

Yes – Kori just charges her ipod on the iHome, it should charge! Funny, we did our little SI meeting at The Empire last year: http://parryshen.files.wordpress.com/2012/01/img_6958.jpg

Parry, unfortunately, the iHomes at the Empire do not double as chargers. I was telling Lynn on twitter that SHATTERED might have been assembled in the very room she was staying in. Didn’t mention the awful pizza we ordered from a nearby pizzeria. Did you ever Yelp-bomb them?
