At Knotts Berry Farms this past summer, I had a sneaking suspicion that I’ve outgrown thrill roller coasters. Used to truly love them, but let’s face it – my body can’t handle this adrenaline anymore…

…I went on two – Batman and Tatsu – then announced my official retirement. Was very happy to hold bags while the rest of our party went on this crazy ass ride.

The birthday girl was brave – she rocked them all – even after brain surgery!!!
Shelly and I were much more happy on the kiddie rides.

Don’t get me wrong – I still love theme parks. Disneyworld and Disneyland will continue to swallow my money for years to come. And, of course, there’s nothing like the high you get consuming overpriced sugar.

The above M&M Cookie Sandwich (yes, my lunch) was $4, but the donuts below were about the same price – you can find them in the Cyber Cafe (<—where there was also a gluten-free lasagna, FYI)

Shelly and I split about 8 of these custom-fried nuggets, dipped in cinnamon + powdered sugar. They were wonderful!

When we got back to Jenny’s, her scene from The Wedding Crashers just happened to be on TV!

I skipped the pizza + cake and headed home. My stomach was a bit wonky so I ate 1/2 a sleeve of Table Water Crackers…

…plus some melon + miso.

Abe and I started watching the Rust and Bone screener but I crashed. Theme park days aren’t what they used to be!

What a fun day! Thanks for being my partner for the day
I was exhausted afterwards as well. I think Disneyland is more up my alley! Xoxo
I think I was 30 the last time I went all out on roller coasters. I was dizzy all day and sore for the next two. :/
I can’t handle roller coasters anymore either- especially the crazy ones at Six Flags. I can’t believe Jenny braved them all!
I would have been perfectly content with those delicious donuts!
I HATE X2!!! It truly feels like you’re falling every second! : (
