After yesterday’s trip to Bouchon, the bakery bounty continued at home!
These were some pastries from Short Cake that Hourie hooked me up with – two scones – Sesame + S’mores….
…and Magnolia Bakery cupcakes Emily/Alex brought over.
Also on the table – strawberries…
…olives/nuts from Joan’s on Third, Carr’s Table Water Crackers…
…and regular old Microwave Popcorn.
I ate a plate of sugar first…
…followed by a bit of the rest…
…and then we saaaaang! Bought a pass on the Xbox Karaoke Channel.
So weird to see Abe and his avatar singing simultaneously.
Now I’m sure there will be more sweetness in my future – off to celebrate Dessert Daring’s birthday! Here we are last year eating 35 cupcakes…

Mmm! As always, everything looks so good! You’re so lucky to be surrounded by positive vibes and delicious munchies! ^_^ I heard that Magnolia cupcakes gained recognition and massive popularity in NYC because of the Sex and the City franchise (but I’m not sure if that’s true); do you think their cupcakes live up to the hype?
