After our gluten-free brunch last weekend we stopped by Sprouts for the first time.

I would describe it as Trader Joe’s meets Whole Foods…

…the price was right on these melons, which I’ve been enjoying all week (just ate half of one now!)

Plus, look who else is there.

No Huell for me, the house is full of Almond Milk! (Pssst….don’t forget to enter the Giveaway, if you haven’t already.)

Love Sprouts! And Wednesdays are double discount days (at least the one in Pasadena)!

I wish we had Sprouts in the Boston Area. What an interesting way to memorialize Huel Howser.

How funny; that’s exactly how I describe Sprouts…Trader Joe’s meet Whole Foods! They have a really good produce selection, usually.

Lynn,
Do you have any tips on how to pick a good cantaloupe out?

Make sure it’s not too green and smell it by the area where it’s picked – should be fruity if it is ripe!

I love that you say you’re in love with a supermarket! I feel the same way about Sprouts, and I feel like people give me the sideways glance when I say that! It really is the perfect mix of trade joes and whole foods.
