Milk! Free Vegan Milk!

The other day my buddy Andrea took a photo of these pretty bottles on Instagram

…a few days later, the company, Califia Farms, sent me some free coupons to try them!

My favorite way to drink almond milk – breakfast soup.

This was about 1/2 a cup of Grape Nuts, 1 cup Califia Farms Almond Milk, and 1 small Granny Smith, ding donged for 4 minutes in a giant bowl (it will overflow in the microwave).

So. So. Good.

I added a few drops of Vanilla Stevia, since the milk/cereal wasn’t sweet.

Ahh now you have me craving Grape Nuts and almond milk. Haven’t had Grape Nuts in ages! Thank you for this giveaway (and breakfast inspiration!).

I need to try to copy your really yummy breakfast soup one of these days! My favorite way to enjoy almond milk is in a cup of hot tea or in a smoothie. Almond milk is the only dairy alternative that agrees with me!

I love almond milk-perfect for cereal and smoothies. Haven’t seen this kind yet-hope to try it soon!

Your breakfast soup sounds brilliant for these cold mornings when plain ol’ oatmeal just doesn’t cut it.

Ashamed to say I have never had almond milk however I just recently went gluten free. I held onto “skim” milk but it certainly didnt make me feel any better. Can’t wait to try this.

Also first Time trying plan to use it for smoothies and other rec. can someone tell me what’s the difference between unsweetened and creamy?

I drink it in everything! Tea, coffee, hot chocolate–I seriously go through a carton every few days.

I recently learned to make my own almond milk because I’ve grown tired of what’s on the shelves… but this looks and promises to be way yummier than what’s in the cardboard boxes! I’m allergic to dairy so I use nut and almond milks for everything or for just a sweet treat at the end of a long day!

Avocado, cocoa powder, frozen banana, spinach, nut butter and almond milk + blender = smoothie! Yummo! 🙂 I have always been a Grape Nuts girl too.

I use almond milk when I’m making vegan pancakes! I also just love it with my Kashi Go Lean cereal. There is something so much tastier about it than plain cow’s milk!

I like to eat my almond milk with frosted flakes! So unhealthy, but it’s just to delicious. 🙂

I actually make hot cocoa with my almond milk! I’ve been vegan for 3 years and I’ve made hot chocolate with soy, rice, almond, 7-grain and even hemp milk! However, of all those alternatives, almond milk comes closest to mimicking the actual taste and texture of the luscious full-fat milk chocolate hot cocoa I used to love. I normally use the Whole Foods brand almond milk, or Silk’s dark chocolate almond milk to make my hot chocolate. It’s heavenly with a bit of agave mixed in! I would love to try Califia Farms almond milk!

I drink it with ginger powder, honey, and cinnamon…kind of weird, but a delicious way to warm up on winter nights!

i drink my almond milk steamed, as a post-dinner dessert with a piece of super dark chocolate. yum!

Love almond milk or coconut-almond milk (this is my fave one!) steamed and frothed alongside my morning coffee. Also a favorite dessert is simply frozen organic blueberries + almond milk (add maple if desired).

Ah I love Califa Farms Almond Milk! I stumbled upon the lovely looking bottle in Gelsons a few months ago and I have to say, this is some of the best Almond Milk I have ever tasted! I use it in my morning coffee, oatmeal, smoothies, and cereal.

I'm lactose intolerant and I don't really like skim milk that much.. And I've been dying to try almond milk. I've been hearing about many recipes lately and I can't wait to try them all 🙂

We don’t drink milk in our house – it’s almond milk or coconut milk, so this would be awesome 🙂

almond milk is one of my favorites for making saag paneer! I add about a cup to my sautee of onions, garlic, ginger and frozen spinaches with spices and it’s delish!
