Brunch for 6 + 2 Babies? I suggested Short Cake…

…where I introduced everyone to Hourie and her amazing creations! A bite of everything you see below – Strawberry Jam bar…

…savory scone…

…hazelnut croissant…

…brunette.

We even got to taste things not even on the menu…

…a croissant stuffed with Manchego, piquillo peppers, and green onion, with smoked paprika on top.

Those were just the appetizers – we all ordered open faced toasts as well…

Zucchini, eggplant, tomato, caramelized onion, red pepper, and olive…

…shaved ham, kale, tomato, bechamel, comte, and thyme.

I had a few pieces of the sandwiches, plus a big bowl of arugula…

…and most of this Walnut Shortbread.

Everyone (babies included) had a grand time!

Wow! Next time I’m in LA, please help me remember this spot. Pleeeeaaase!
Mmmm! I especially love those appetizer-thingies.
I’m an eggplant-lover!
Aaah, I finally watched White on Rice on Netflix!
My boyfriend and I really enjoyed it! It’s incredibly funny and adorable to watch; the boyfriend laughed at everything (he really adores this type of comedy). And you were great in the film! ^__^v Can’t wait to watch more of your movies!
Thanks so much for watching!!! Have a wonderful weekend.
sounds delish! let’s get together soon-ish! xo
What’s in the savory scone? The pic makes it look like it has mac n cheese in it!
It had cheddar! And scallion.
The zucchini-eggplant-tomato open-faced toast looks adorable and reminiscent of the ratatouille in the movie Ratatouille (was I the only one who thought those finely sliced rounds of veggies looked amazing?!). :3 Good find! Will add to our list of LA brunch places to check out.
i’ve always wanted to make that ratatouille ratatouille!
