New Year’s Cake Balls

We still have a ton of food/booze from our New Year’s Brunch – an excuse to keep the party happening. I can’t believe these flowers are still going too!

I’m starting to perfect the pita chip – if you brush them with olive oil, and season them differently on both sides…

…they’ll crisp up much faster, and you won’t have to guess which side has to be flipped.

Made a fresh batch, along with a quick dip of Whole Foods goodies (roasted eggplant/red peppers pureed with a can of white beans + half lemon)…

…also used the leftover antipasti for two vegetarian casseroles – a quickie Moussaka…

…it was a school night, so were done entertaining early enough to catch the Downton Abbey Season 3 Premiere!
