A visit to see Poom…
…and her little dog too!
Back home in time for one last dinner with Mom…
…Turkey Casserole + a stir fry of everything from the last week…
…plus the addition of Mantou.
Best way to prep these – brown ‘em in olive oil, then use water to cover/steam.
Abe and I picked up some firewood and berries on the way back from Poom’s – I had a few with my Godmother’s cookies, a piece of Almond Roca…
…and this Chinese Peanut Candy.
Still craving sweets! A handful of dried fruit (raisins, blueberries, and prunes) before bed…
…along with a cup of Turkey Soup.
Made it through the storm, and my first Holiday without Dad.
