Feeling grape-ful today…

…scored a last-minute lunch with my darling Jenny! We met up at Ulysses Voyage in the Farmer’s Market.

Both of us ordered their soup…

…Lemon Chicken Avgolemono.

Jenny’s treat – for my upcoming birthday!

Ekmek Kantaifi…

…shredded filo topped with vanilla custard and whipped cream/chocolate…

…she didn’t eat any (mine – ALL MINE!) but it got a 4.5 cherry review on her dessert blog – and rightly so. Surprisingly yummy.

P.S. Don’t go to The Grove/Farmer’s Market at noon. Parking is a nightmare.

What a great day! I love surprise luncheons with friends;) As the weather turns colder here, I find I need those little luncheons even more to keep my spirit warm!!
