After the two holiday parties, I was feeling pretty poopy yesterday, but remembered not to give power to the binges that will inevitably continue to arise, especially this Holiday Season.

Snacked on grapes from the Larchmont Farmer’s Market, took it easy all morning/afternoon…

…made a really simple pie for Melanie – 1 cup Greek Yogurt, 1 cup Confectioner’s Sugar, and 3 eggs…

…pour into a prepared Graham Cracker Crust and bake at 325 until it’s not jiggly anymore (about an hour)

While that cooled in the fridge, I snacked on some leftovers from Holiday Party #2 – a mini quiche + chocolate nut cake…

…then me and the pie headed to a reading of a play that Melanie wrote. It was fun to act again after playing punk rock singer all month.

One apple and a hot shower later, I fixed myself a random but delicious dinner…

…Cauliflower steamed in the microwave with dried dill/Garlic Gold, then lightly pureed with miso soup.

My last Sunday at home in Los Angeles for 2012…where in the world has the year gone?!?

That pie looks absolutely delicious! Was this part of your fun concoctions or did you get this idea from somewhere…? Either way, I really enjoy reading about your baking adventures — I’m always following your blog to see what you come up with next!
Happy Holidays to you and your family, Lynn!
thanks lez! it was a very simplified version of other yogurt pies i’ve seen online.
Melanie loved the pie!! It was delicious and light and she ate more pieces than she should have all on her own! And you were absolutely spectacular in the reading. XXX
