Bye Bye Edie

The one good thing about my flights to LA last night were that they were both empty; I wound up with an entire row to myself. Usually I have to sit on the aisle, so having a center seat and a view out the window was pretty sweet…

…as were these Ritter Sport chocolates from Germany.

Abe picked me up around midnight – took a shower until all the hot water was gone and slept in my own bed for the first time in over a month.

Uh….did all of this really happen???

It’s been a whirlwind adventure since day 1 with the cancelled Thanksgiving flight, and I’m really glad I did it, even though there were times when I didn’t think I could handle the cold, the sleeping arrangements, the complete lack of privacy, the sheer physical exhaustion and intensity of being away from home. I will definitely miss these guys…

…and performing too. Don’t know when I’ll have the opportunity to sing with a band ever again…

…but I am really happy to finally be in Los Angeles (for a few days, at least) and hang up my dirty white jacket.

I made a playlist of all our performances on my YouTube Channel so one day, when I’m an old woman, I can remember how punk rock I once was.

What a trip! What an experience. It’s been neat living vicariously through you, but I hear ya on all the “rough” patches – exactly the same kind of stuff that would bug the heck out of me…however, it seems wonderful and you did it. Rock on 🙂

I totally thought I was the only one using the name “k” but apparently there are others. Haha. Happy that you’re back safe and sound!! Get lots of rest!
