Nice Girls Finish Early

November 13, 2012

in acting, salads, sandwich, store, take out

My last day on Nice Girls Crew 2 started before the sun came up…

…we shot on location at a cute boutique downtown, called SixHundred (at 600 Spring Street).

Upon return to the main set, lunch awaited – Sheetal and I were thrilled to see food from M Cafe!

Quinoa Salad, Soba Noodles, my favorite Kale, and their tempeh club…

…two more sandwiches – falafel and fish (<—FYI M Cafe isn’t 100% vegan).

I had a serving of everything…

…then we switched from one look…

…to another.  Just like Day-to-Night Barbie!

Really gonna miss our glam squad – and my Nice Girls (Michelle wasn’t even on set to say bye-bye to).

We finished at 5pm – the earliest day yet!  Back home I munched on 1/2 a melon and passed out on the couch, watching old episodes of Modern Family.  The rest of the cast/crew has one more shoot date but I am picture-wrapped – if I manage to make a dent in packing I may stop by set to watch the fun, but knowing me, it’s gonna take a while…

Here was my Nice Girls Crew Season 1 last day – if you want to catch up on all the other Season 2 posts, start from Day 1 and click forward.  And if you want to help support the production financially (and score some cool perks) check out our Indiegogo Page!

LOVE the ensembles! I really need to check out your series.

Also: I really want to try that tempeh club. I love tempeh and have been marinating it and adding it to a delicious salad with mixed greens, diced apple, chopped green onion, raisins, sesame seeds, and homemade sesame oil/orange juice vinaigrette. SO good!

Just saw all episodes, they’re fantastic and hilarious! Makes me want to relaunch my own short lived book club (though very rarely did any of us actually finish the books ;)

And your make-up/wardrobe team did such great work, you ladies look gorgeous!

I never wanted to be an actress but I’m somehow completely entranced with your blog and your experiences … Just wanted to let you know that I enjoy what you write & eat :-)
