Last night we celebrated Joy’s birthday! A small group gathered for a late dinner at Colori Kitchen downtown, a.k.a. my new favorite restaurant.

Big bread basket for the table, with a “side of magic” (Joy’s words)…

…bean and garlic spread (with extra garlic).

To start, the table shared Beef Carpaccio and Burrata Salad…

…and a lot of us ordered pasta.

I tried several bites, and it was all incredible, including the pesto above, Spinach Ricotta gnocchi below…

…and (oh my God) Spaghetti Carbonara.

Tyler and I both got the Linguini with Clam Sauce and split them – a traditional white sauce (which I preferred)…

…and a red (the waiter recommended this one).

A lot of bread was required to pick up all that extra sauce!

And last but not least…

…Dolci perfection – Flan, Chocolate Mousse…

…and the Tortino di Ricotta, the most unique, epic cheesecake made with a “secret ingredient.”

We closed the place down!
