I was trapped in the house most of the morning doing phone meetings, and recording a new Thick Dumpling Skin podcast…
…excited to get out and escape to a new cafe within walking distance…
…even though I don’t drink coffee.
Abe told me they make THE BEST cup in town, though.
I stuck to the “F” – a lovely menu filled with sandwiches, salads, and baked goodies.
The Kale is their signature, so I got a small side of that…
…along with the roast beef with chimichurri, pressed as a panini.
The greens were especially good – mixed with cheese, pine nuts, and super finely chopped.
I will definitely be back for something sweet on another day…
…and I know where I’ll be having my next couple meetings, too!

LOVE coffee, but all of that food looks so fabulous, too! I wish I had a cafe like that near my home or office. Then again, I’d probably spend ALL my money
I drink coffee (too much) so I wish I could swing by for a morning cup! All of this (coffee + food) looks delicious. Thank you for sharing!
Cute little coffee spot! I love seeing more of these open in L.A. (it feels like we’re saturated with big-name coffe spots at times!).
