I’m waaaaay behind on work. It’s hot.

A Pinkberry card PR gave me when I tried their Greek Yogurt Breakfasts = No Brainer.

We put the top down and blasted music.

Wish the Larchmont location was still open, but the drive down Sunset Boulevard actually felt ilke a mini vacation, with me snapping photos like a tourist.

Sample of their new Chocolate Hazelnut flavor…

…but ultimately ordered my favorite, Peanut Butter. Filled a medium cup with every fruit topping (except for the watermelon)…

…and yogurt chips too.

We ate outside, admiring the moon.

My mom told me I should eat grapefruit for the Mid-Autumn Festival; I couldn’t because of cholesterol meds. So a bedtime orange it was.

WISH I had Mooncake. It didn’t end up happening, just like the last three years – I think I’m going to have to preorder some for 2013!

But I did light a candle for my Dad on the 49th Day of his death, which according to Buddhist tradition, is how long it takes for the spirit to be reborn.

Today I’ll take down the altar and move his pictures around the house. In the past 7 weeks things have definitely shifted – I’ve stopped dreaming about him constantly, seeing signs. I still think about him almost every waking moment, and miss him. But everyday life isn’t as intense, even though my schedule is more overwhelming than it’s ever been before.

Oh there’s a Chinese (Taiwanese?) bakery up here that makes mini moon cakes year round. If you want any, let me know, I’d be happy to send you a couple. I’m told that they make good ones. I wouldn’t personally know, since I might just be the only Chi-Am on earth who doesn’t care for moon cakes.

Fact 1: I’ve never been to Pinkberry!
Fact 2: That church is around the corner from my apartment. I think it’s gorgeous and really want to tour it sometime.
